About Sarah Scaturro

Sarah Scaturro is the Eric and Jane Nord Chief Conservator at the Cleveland Museum of Art and a doctoral candidate in Design History and Material Culture Studies at Bard Graduate Center.

Sarah Scaturro is the Eric and Jane Nord Chief Conservator at the Cleveland Museum of Art and a PhD candidate in design history and material culture studies at Bard Graduate Center. Previously, she was the head of the fashion conservation laboratory at the Costume Institute, Metropolitan Museum of Art and the textile conservator and assistant curator of fashion at the Cooper-Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. She’s also a Fellow of the International Institute for Conservation and a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation.
